Almost spring in Copenhagen
So it’s time again – we have left snow and ice in Sweden behind us in order to travel to Copenhagen and the Martinus Institute for the weekend, where I will take part in a council meeting on Sunday. This time, my partner Lars and I are travelling together, enjoying a day in Copenhagen together with friends. And yes – there are spring flowers in the Martinus Institute’s garden!

But we had also some work planned for this visit. Mary McGovern and I recorded a new podcast for the Martinus Cosmology Podcast. Our topic was Martinus’ analyses of the sexual pole transformation or the ”wheel of creation” behind the existence. We ended up talking about this topic as well as many other things, including the lack of opportunities for women in previous generations to express their creativity, and my own experience of going through a divorce.

We’ll see what comes out of our efforts in the end, but it is very rewarding to spend time together reflecting on life and personal experiences from the perspective of Martinus’ analyses. After that, we went down to the cellar of the Institute where we enjoyed a delicious lunch consisting of beetroot soup and home-made bread that Mary had made for us.

In the afternoon, we had the pleasure of listening to Poul Dyrholm giving a lecture in the Institute’s lecture hall. He talked about the world situation from a cosmic perspective. When you look at the development of humanity within the framework of many lives instead of just one (short) life, it is much easier to see a logical pattern behind everything. Even difficult and painful times can be regarded as valuable and meaningful.

The participants listened attentively and asked many questions about Martinus’ prediction of a third world war, and about what individuals can do in order to help others today.
In the evening, the cosmological conversations continued at a vegan restaurant called ”Plant Power Food”, where you can get a number of vegan bowls with all sorts of vegetables, kale chips and other specialties.

And later, over a café latte with soya milk, we had an intense discussion about the exact meaning of the ”sign of the cross” that Martinus mentions in several texts, and what it means to do research within the spiritual field or “lengthwise through matter”, as it says in Martinus’ symbol no. 40, The Sign of the Cross.

However, even here winter has not entirely lost its grip. But it is quite nice to go to bed in the cosy atmosphere of the guest room in the Martinus Institute. He was not a guru, but even so, it is rather special to sleep under a symbol signed by Martinus himself. And tomorrow we have our council meeting.
